Adapt Train Empower

Sport has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
Around age 9, that started to change. Pain, mostly in my lower body, that no one could explain.
For years I was told it was in my head.
I couldn't do much of anything. The diagnosis finally came at 14: Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
That's when I started using a wheelchair, and when doctors told me I likely wouldn't do sport again, not seriously.
A year later, I found wheelchair basketball, and it gave me back something I thought I'd lost. I made the French national team, and in 2018 we won bronze at the U24 European Championships.
Then a change in disability classification rules ended that career overnight. Nothing I could have trained harder for, it just stopped.
I moved into CrossFit next, and by 2021 I was competing at the CrossFit Games, finishing as the 2nd Fittest Seated Woman on Earth.
High-level sport takes a toll on any body, and mine took it harder than most: dislocations, sprains, tendinitis, over and over, to the point where training started to make me anxious instead of excited.
I'd made that mistake early on, pushing through everything, and paying for it. I qualified for the Games a third time and chose not to go. I was ready to stop competing altogether.
Then I found Hyrox. My first race was in December 2024. In 2025 I finished the World Championships three seconds off first place.
November 2025, I set a world record.
In June 2026, I became World Champion, ten years after being told I might not do sport again at all.
Along the way, I met hundreds of wheelchair athletes: in basketball, in CrossFit, in Hyrox, and in rehab centers, talking with people who were just starting out.
Some came in with a strong athletic background and taught me things I'd never have figured out alone.
Others were lost, training without structure or real guidance, the way I once was.
Between the two, and my own experience, I learned exactly what wheelchair athletes actually need, and how much of what's out there gets it wrong.
Because there's a lot of misinformation in adaptive sport. That's what Adapt Train Empower is built against: real, concrete exercises, grounded in both research and years on the ground, not guesswork.
Everything I wish I'd known, put into programs, so you don't have to learn it the hard way, the way I did.
